What this website collects
Nothing. There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no map, no webfont fetched from anyone else and no social widget. The page makes no request to any server other than the one serving it, and that is enforced by a check that fails the build if a third-party address appears in the output.
What is stored on your device
One item, and only if you use it. If you switch the currency on the pricing page, that choice is saved in your browser under caliper.currency so the page remembers it next time. It never leaves your browser, we cannot read it, and clearing site data removes it. Nothing else is written, and there are no cookies at all.
How prices know your region
From your device’s timezone setting, which your browser already knows. We do not look up your IP address, because that would mean sending it to somebody else. The timezone is read locally and never transmitted.
If you email us
We keep the correspondence so we can answer it and keep a record of what was agreed. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or share it, and if you ask us to delete it we will. Write to hello@caliperlabs.dev.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records requests, which includes IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. That is the provider’s standard processing and we do not build profiles from it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK or India you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection over personal data we hold. Since the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email exchange you began, exercising them usually means asking us to delete a thread. Email the address above.
EU representative
Under Article 27 of the GDPR, a company outside the European Union that offers services to people in the EU appoints a representative established in a Member State where those people are. Our appointment is in progress and the representative’s name and address will be published here before we take on an EU client. Until then, write to hello@caliperlabs.dev and it reaches the same people.
Who we are
CALIPER LABS LLP, an Indian limited liability partnership, name approved under SRN M31629865. Registered office details will be published here once incorporation completes.
Terms and data processing agreement
Both exist and both are sent with any proposal. They are not published here because they are negotiated per engagement rather than offered as standard form. Ask and we will send the current versions before you commit to anything.
